FAQ
Common questions for trading, risk, and operations
Why is my account in reduce-only mode?
Your margin balance is below initial margin requirements but still above maintenance requirements, or the market itself has been moved to reduce-only for risk control.
See Margin System.
Why was my order rejected?
Common causes:
- Tick/lot precision mismatch
- Market mode — wind-down, halted, delisted, or post-only mode restricts order placement
- Margin/risk-limit violation
See Orders.
Is funding a fee charged by the exchange?
No. Funding is a transfer between long and short counterparties.
See Funding.
What happens during a market halt?
Trading pauses for the affected market. Depending on event type, orders may be canceled and additional actions may be announced.
See Market Lifecycle.
How are stock splits handled?
For splits/reverse splits, OBSDN halts trading, cancels resting orders, and closes all open positions at halt-time mark price.
See Corporate Actions.
